I have been SO rubbish at updating my blog since last year. I hold my hands up. I do have a very good excuse though, because I have have been ploughing my way through writing book number TWO!!!! Yes indeedy, it turns out I had a second book in me. Who’d of thought it eh?
So, there you go. Ive been busy scribbling for the last few months and I’m very pleased to be able to say that the book is FINISHED. Not only that but it has also been EDITED, and PROOFREAD, and it is currently having the cover designed too. And you all thought I’d just been sitting around watching copious episodes of ‘Married at First Sight’ didn’t you? Actually, I did do a fair amount of that too, to be fair.
So, would you like to know the title?
Can I get a drumroll please……..
Book number two is called FREE FALL.
It is another slow burn psychological thriller, but it has a completely different storyline and characters to ‘Hypnotic’ (although one character’s name does crop up). I promise it will be a twisty and turny as ‘Hypnotic’ and the ending will shock you just as much.
So, how would you like to hear the blurb for the back of the book then?
Here you go:
Ellie is feeling alone and unhappy in her marriage. Her husband no longer shows any interest in her and is constantly travelling for work. So, when Saul, a handsome stranger, offers her everything she’s been missing, what starts as a harmless flirtation quickly grows into something deeper.
Before it can go too far, however, Ellie comes to her senses and ends the burgeoning relationship. It’s over – or is it?
A series of unexplained and sometimes threatening events soon lead Ellie to believe that maybe Saul isn’t as out of her life as she’d thought.
Gulp.
So, there it is…my second ‘child’ about to be unleashed onto the world. I’d like to thank you for your readership as always and I apologise for the lack of updates over the last few months (or maybe you didn’t even notice – LOL).
I promise to share the cover of ‘Free Fall’ as soon as I get it in my sweaty mitts, and I will announce the release date at the same time.
Until next time (and in the words of the late Jerry Springer) take care of yourself, and each other.
